Vader — польскі дэз/трэш-метал гурт, заснаваны ў 1983 годзе ў Ольштыне. На дадзены момант нараўне з Behemoth і Decapitated з’яўляюцца лідарамі польскай экстрэмальнай сцэны. Гурт быў названы ў гонар персанажа Зорных войнаў Дарта Вейдэра. Пастаянным і нязменным лідарам гурта быў і застаецца гітарыст, а таксама вакаліст Пётр «Пітэр» Віўчарэк. Тэксты гурта часта звяртаюцца да твораў Г. Ф. Лаўкрафта. Па дадзеных на 2002 год, колькасць прададзеных альбомаў склала больш за паўмільёна копій па ўсім свеце.
