TrueBSD — гэта аперацыйная сістэма беларускай распрацоўкі, якая базуецца на зыходных кодах АС FreeBSD, і здольная стартаваць з DVD-дыска, без папярэдняга ўсталявання на цвёрды дыск. Аперацыйная сістэма ўладкаваная вялікай колькасцю карысных праграм (улучна з KDE, GNOME, OpenOffice.org і г.д.), што дазволяць вам глядзець фільмы, слухаць музыку, працаваць з дакумантамі, ствараць праграмы, працаваць у сетцы Інтэрнэт, і шмат чаго іншага. TrueBSD распаўсюджваецца пад ліцэнзіяй BSD, а дастасаваныя да яе праграмы — па іх уласных ліцэнзіях.

Бягучая версія 2.0-RC2 заснавана на 7-галіне (7.1-PRERELEASE) FreeBSD.
