HDTV

Ang HDTV (daglat sa Ingles: high-definition television) ay isang sistema ng telebisyon na nagbibigay ng isang resolusyon ng larawan na mas malaki sa SDTV. Ang HDTV ay ang kasalukyang pamantayang video format ng karamihan ng mga brodkast tulad ng telebisyong terestriyal, telebisyong kable, telebisyong satelayt, mga DVD at video streaming.

Maaaring ipadala ang HDTV sa iba't ibang mga format:

  • 1080p: 1920×1080p: 2,073,600 mga pixel (~2.07 mga megapixel]) bawat frame
  • 1080i: 1920×1080i: 1,036,800 mga pixel (~1.04 MP) bawat field o 2,073,600 mga pixel (~2.07 MP) bawat frame
    • May ilang mga bansa ang gumagamit ng isang di-pamantayang resolusyong CEA, tulad ng 1440×1080i: 777,600 mga pixel (~0.78 MP) bawat field o 1,555,200 mga pixel (~1.56 MP) bawat frame
  • 720p: 1280×720p: 921,600 mga pixel (~0.92 MP) bawat frame
