Diyamante
Sa larangan ng mineralohiya, ang diyamante[1] (Ingles: diamond) ay isang uri ng matigas at makinang na mineral na ginagamit sa pag-aalahas. Brilyante[1] ang tawag sa mga diyamanteng may pinakamatataas na uri at kalidad. Karaniwang tumutukoy ang salitang diyamante sa mga segunda-klaseng mga diyamante.
Ang diyamante ay tinatawag ding "gulugod pagong" ng mga sinaunang tao dahil ang hugis nito ay pagkakawangis sa likuran o talukob ng pagong. Ito rin ang pinakamatigas na mineral sa buong mundo. [kailangan ng sanggunian]
