Ang beterinaryo[1][2] (Kastila; veterinario, Ingles: veterinarian sa Estados Unidos, veterinary surgeon o siruhanong beterinaryo sa Nagkakaisang Kaharian) ay isang manggagamot ng mga hayop at dalubhasa sa larangang ng panggagamot ng mga hayop o beterinarya.[2] Nagbuhat ang salitang beterinaryo mula sa Ingles na veterinarian at Kastilang veterinario na kapwa kinuha naman mula sa Lating veterinae, na may ibig sabihing "mga hayop na humihila ng kargada." Unang ginamit ni Thomas Browne sa palimbag na paraan ang salitang veterinarian noong 1646.[3]
