Socx (pr. Sòx) es una comuna francesa del departament del Nòrd e de la region dels Nauts de França .

Istòria
En 1067, una charte octroyée per Baudouin V, comte de Flandre, cita "Chocas". Aquel nom ven Chox en 1225, Sox en 1528, abans de prene lo sieu orthographe actual. Socx dépendait De la Châtellenie de Bergues e del diocèse de Ypres.
En 1914-1918, Foch aviá establit lo sieu quartièr general a Socx. Pendent lo segond darrièra guèrra mondiala, l'espital de Dunquèrca ocupada i aguèt transferit dins las bastissas d'un coan. Un obus #traversar d'en un autre luòc lo torn de la glèisa, defunta sègle XVI, #que i aguèt restaurat entre 1957 e 1961.

En 1914-1918, Foch avait établi son quartier général à Socx. Pendant la seconde dernière guerre mondiale, l'hôpital de Dunkerque occupée fut transféré dans les bâtiments d'un couvent. Un obus traversa d'ailleurs la tour de l'église, fin sègle XVI, qui fut restaurée entre 1957 et 1961.
