Isis (en egipcian antic ꜣst, en còpte ⲏⲥⲓ Ési, en grèc Ἶσις Ĩsis) es la diva de la maternitat e la fertilitat en Egipte antica. Es una divinitat de la vida, de la mòrt e de la renaissença.
A la debuta, èra una diva de la reialtat. Mai tard, èra considerada coma la diva dels marins.
Isis èra la filha de Nut, diva del cèl, e de Seb, dieu de la tèrra. Se maridèt amb Osiris, son fraire e lo paire de son filh Òrus. Osiris foguèt assassinat per son fraire Set mas Isis repetacèt son còs e faguèt nàisser aital Òrus a Khemnis, un estanh. Isis èra tanben la maire de Min.
