Ferdrupt est une petite commune de la haute vallée de la Moselle, enserrée entre Ramonchamp et Rupt, et fait partie de l'aire urbaine du Thillot. L'agglomération comporte le village proprement dit et deux hameaux : Remanvillers et Xoarupt. L'adret et surtout l'ubac sont le domaine de forêts où dominent les résineux.
