Lo DDT (ò diclorodifeniltricloroetan) es un produch quimic organoclorat sintetizat famós per sei proprietats insecticidas.
Sintetizat per lo premier còp en 1874, foguèt largament utilizat après la descubèrta de sei proprietats insecticidas per lo quimista soís Paul Hermann Müller (1899-1965). Son usatge permetèt l'eradicion de plusors malautiás causadas per d'insèctes dins lei regions temperadas (paludisme, pèsta...). Pasmens, a partir deis ans 1970, son utilizacion foguèt pauc a pauc enebida dins mai d'un país en causa de seis efiechs environamentaus negatius sus la fauna (disparicion deis aucèus...).
