Bonn es una vila alemanda del Land de Ren del Nòrd-Vestfàlia. Sa superfícia totala es 141,22 km². De 1949 a 1990 foguèt la capitala de la Republica Federala d'Alemanha.
Sa populacion èra estimada a 327 913 abitants en 2011, en essent la 19ena vila d'Alemanha, un pòrt fluvial al Ren e es sieu universitària dempuèi lo 1818, an que s'i fondèt sa universitat, Rheinische Friedrich Willhelms Universität, qu'ocupa lo luòc de l'ancian palai dels electors de Colonha.
Lo musician Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) i nasquèt.
Lo 1949 se creèt un quartièr administratiu al sud de la vila. Las ambaissadas e las residéncias dels foncionaris son a la vesina Bad Godesberg.
Es pòrt fluvial al Ren e a un aeropòrt prèp partejat amb Colonha.
Los sieus monuments mai destacats son lo Münster (una collegiada romanica dels sègles XI-XIII), l'ostal de la vila (sègle XVIII); e la Beethovenhalle (1957-1959). Lo Rheinisches Landesmusum a d'importantas colleccions d'art.
