Lo bandi (ancianament gbandi, gbande) es una lenga mande, una branca de las lengas nigèrocongolesas, parlada en Libèria e en Guinèa.
Localisacion
Lo bandi es parlat dins lo comtat de Lofa dins lo nòrd de Libèria. Mas pendant las guèrras civilas (1989-1996 e 1999-2003) fòrça bandi fugiguèron en Guinèa. Al mejan de las annadas 1990, 50 000 bandi èran refugiats de l'autre costat de la frontièra. Dempuèi la fin del conflicte, tornan pauc a pauc en Libèria[1].
Classificacion
Lo bandi fa partida del sosgrop mande del sud-oèst, amb lo looma, lo loko, lo zialo, lo mende e lo kpelle.
