Associated Press (AP) es una agéncia de premsa mondiala e generalista que lo sèti es als Estats Units d'America. Creada en 1846, es una de las mai ancianas cooperativas del mond. A 145 oficis als EUA e 95 dins 72 autres païses. Compta mai 4 000 emplegats que 3 000 jornalistas. Los seus reportatges son publicats en cinc lengas: l'anglés, lo francés, l'italian, l'alemand e l'espanhòl. En 2009, l'AP possèda lo malhum de fotografia numericas mai avançat de l'industria, un servici de novèlas continuas 24 òras per jorn, un servici de novèlas televisadas naut de gama e mai grand malhum de radios dels EUA[1].
