Accent agut
L’accent agut ( ´ ) es un diacritic de l'alfabet latin eritat de l'accent agut grèc o de l'apèx latin.
Utilizacion
Accent tonic
En occitan, espanhòl, portugués, catalan l'accent agut s'utiliza per marcar l'accent tonic irregular per las vocalas Á á /a/, É é /e/, Í í /i/, Ó ó /o/, Ú ú /u/.
Accent grafic
Es tanben un accent grafic sus la vocala é per destriar los omofons, per ex;perque (conjonccion) / perqué (adverbi interrogatiu).
S'utiliza per la meteissa rason sus la á. per ex en espanhòl: mas (« mai ») / más (« mas »)
En francés, l’accent agut es placat sus la letra e (« é ») per destriar lo fonèma /e/ del fonèma ə notat e.
En Italian, indica los sons mai tencats, o melhor de timbre mai tencat, é (/e/) e ó (/o/), e dins las grafias mai cercada í e ú.

Accent tonic
L’accent tonic en rus es imprevisible e se deu aprene; pasmens, es abitualament pas marcat a l’escrich. L’accent agut servís a indicar l’accent tonic, subretot dins los diccionnaris e los manuals de russes pels estrangièrs, e excepcionalament per marcar l'accent quand lo contèxte permet pas de trencar (бо́льшие « mai grands » / больши́е « grands »).
Longor
En Ongrés, l’accent aigu servís a indicar una vocala longa á, é, í, ó, ú, mas dins lo cas de a e e, tanben modifica li timbre de la vocala: a ɒ → á aː ; e ɛ → é' eː. Plaçat sus la ö e la ü, pren la forma d’un doble accent agut ő, ű.
En chèc e eslovac, l’accent agut apareis sus las vocalas á, é, í, ó, ú e ý per indicar qu'aquelas vocalas son longas. Dins aquelas lengas, l e r se pòdon considerear comade vocalas e, en eslovac, pòdon èsser longas: ĺ e ŕ.
Palatizacion
En bielorús e en Polonés l'accent sevís a indicar una palatalizaion: ć dona t͡ɕ, ń dona ɲ, ś dona ɕ, ź dona ʑ, dź dona d͡ʑ.

Dins l’escritura vietnamiana quôc ngu, l’accent agut es nomenat « sắc » e indica una intonacion pujanta.
