Dalam politik, sentrisme ialah pandangan politik atau kedudukan khusus yang melibatkan penerimaan atau sokongan keseimbangan tahap kesamaan sosial dan tahap hierarki sosial, sementara menentang perubahan politik yang akan menghasilkan pergeseran masyarakat yang kuat ke kiri atau yang betul.[1]

Kedua-dua politik tengah-kiri dan tengah-kanan melibatkan hubungan umum dengan sentrisme yang digabungkan dengan sedikit condong ke sisi spektrum masing-masing. Pelbagai ideologi politik seperti demokrasi Kristian dapat diklasifikasikan sebagai ideologi sentris.[2]
