Sejarah Chad

Chad (Arab: تشاد; Perancis: Tchad), secara rasmi Republik Chad, adalah sebuah negara yang terkurung daratan di Afrika Tengah. Ia bersempadan dengan Libya di utara, Sudan di timur, Republik Afrika Tengah di selatan, Cameroon dan Nigeria di barat daya, dan Niger di barat. Oleh kerana jaraknya dari laut dan sebahagian besar iklim padang pasir, negara ini kadangkala dirujuk sebagai "Dead Heart of Africa".[1]
