Samba (sebutan dalam bahasa Portugis: [ˈsɐ̃bɐ] (
listen)) merupakan tarian dan genre muzik Brazil yang berasal di Bahia dengan berakar di Rio De Janeiro dari benua Afrika melalui perdagangan hamba barat benua tersebut serta tradisi agama anutan dibawa hamba-hamba dagangan ini. Ia diiktiraf di serata dunia sebagai simbol Brazil dan Karnival Brazil. Dianggap sebagai salah satu ekspresi budaya Brazil paling popular, samba telah menjadi ikon identiti nasional Brazil.[1][2][3]
