Rengit adalah sebuah bandar di Daerah Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia. Ia terletak di pinggir selatan Batu Pahat bersempadan dengan daerah Pontian. Rengit terdiri daripada 31 buah kampung induk dan 2 buah kampung orang asli.

Geografi

Bandar ini merentasi keluasan 6.5 km2.[2] Keluasan Daerah Kecil Rengit dianggarkan seluas 100.8 batu persegi atau 64,512 hektar dan dibahagikan kepada 3 mukim iaitu Mukim Kampung Bahru, Mukim Sungai Punggur dan Mukim Sungai Kluang di mana setiap mukim ditadbir oleh seorang Penghulu. [3]

Demografi

Majoriti penduduk di Rengit terdiri daripada orang Melayu dan diikuti oleh orang Cina.
