Panicum (panicgrass) ialah genus besar dengan kira-kira 450 spesies rumput Poaceae yang berasal dari kawasan tropika di seluruh dunia, dengan beberapa spesies menjangkau ke zon sederhana utara. Ia sering merupakan rumput yang besar, tahunan atau perenial, tumbuh setinggi 1–3 m (3–10 ka).[2][3]
