OpenCard Framework (OCF, bermaksud "rangka kerja OpenCard") menyediakan API Java untuk mencapai kad pintar dan aplikasi yang ada di dalam kad pintar tersebut. Ia mula-mula ditakrifkan oleh OpenCard Consortium namun banyak digerakkan oleh IBM dan Gemplus. Usaha ini berakhir pada versi 1.2-nya dan sebuah pelaksanaan rujukan oleh IBM. Kedua-dua badan tadi berpecah lantas OpenCard Framework menjadi terbiar tidak berkembang. Tapak webnya masih boleh dilawati sehingga tahun 2007, kini sudah ditutup. Kod-kod asalnya dipindahkan kepada sebuah projek di SourceForge, namun tidak diselenggara secukupnya.
Seni bina
- CardTerminals ialah pemacu bagi pembaca kad pintar. Pemacu ini mungkin tempatan (.so, .dll) menggunakan JNI atau menggunakan API javax.comm serta gnu.io API. The distribution provides a bridge with PC/SC drivers.
- CardServices ialah antara muka aras tinggi kepada aplikasi bagi menutup kerumitan ISO/IEC 7816-3 dan -4. CardServices yang ada ialah PassThruCardService, MFCFileAccess, BasicEMVAppletAccess, VOPCardService, dan sebagainya.
