Oogenesis, ovogenesis, atau oögenesis //[1] adalah perbezaan ovum (sel telur) ke dalam sel yang kompeten untuk pembangunan selanjutnya apabila disenyawakan.[2] Ia dikembangkan dari oosit utama dengan kematangan. Oogenesis dimulakan pada peringkat embrio.
