Metaloid
Metaloid (Yunani: metallon - logam, eidos - serupa) adalah satu siri unsur kimia yang mempunyai sifat antara logam dan bukan logam. Metaloid sukar dibezakan dengan logam, perbezaan utama adalah secara umumnya metaloid adalah separa pengalir manakala logam adalah pengalir. Terdapat 7 unsur yang dikelompokkan sebagai metaloid iaitu: boron (B), silikon (Si), germanium (Ge), arsenik (As), antimoni (Sb), telurium (Te), polonium (Po), dan astatin (At).
Dalam jadua; berkala, metaloid membentuk garis menyerong dari boron ke polonium. Unsur-unsur di bahagian kanan atas garis ini adalah bukan logam manakala yang berada di bahagian kiri bawah adalah logam.
