Limfosit ialah sejenis sel darah putih (leukosit) yang merupakan sebahagian daripada sistem imun dalam kebanyakan haiwan vertebrata.[1] Antara jenis-jenis sel limfosit yang ada termasuklah sel T (untuk keimunan penyesuaian sitotoksik dan berperantara sel), sel B (untuk keimunan penyesuaian pacuan antibodi dan humoral),[2][3] serta sel limfoid semula jadi (ILC) (sel "kelihatan seperti sel T semula jadi" ini terlibat dalam keimunan mukosa dan homeostasis). Antara subjenis ILC terpenting ialah terutamanya sel pemusnah semula jadi (yang berfungsi dalam pengantaraan sel, keimunan semula jadi sitotoksik). Kesemua jenis limfosit merupakan jenis sel utama yang terdapat dalam limfa, yang mendorong nama "limfosit" (dengan sit bermaksud sel).[4] Limfosit membentuk antara 18% sehingga mencecah 42% daripada sel darah putih yang beredar.[2]

Tiga jenis utama limfosit ialah sel T, sel B dan sel pemusnah semula jadi (NK).[2] Limfosit boleh dikenal pasti melalui nukleusnya yang besar.
