Lamniformes (dari Yunani, lamna, "ikan pemangsa") ialah sebuah order ikan yu yang biasanya dikenal sebagai yu makerel (mungkin juga merujuk kepada keluarga Lamnidae). Order ini memasukan juga spesies ikan yu paling terkenal seperti yu putih,[2] serta yang kurang masyhur seperti yu goblin dan yu mulut besar.
Anggota order dikenal pasti dengan memiliki dua sirip punggung, satu sirip anus, lima celah insang, mata tidak memiliki selaput niktitasi, dan mulut memanjang di belakang mata. Spesies dalam dua keluarga Lamniformes– Lamnidae dan Alopiidae, dibezakan kerana mengekalkan suhu badan yang lebih tinggi daripada air sekelilingnya.[3]
