ENIAC
ENIAC, salah sebuah komputer pertama, memerlukan lokasi 15,000 kaki persegi dan seberat 30 tan. ENIAC, atau Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer, dibuat oleh Dr. John W. Mauchley dan J. Presper Eckert, Jr. pada tahun 1946. Pada asalnya ia bertujuan untuk kegunaan sewaktu Perang Dunia Kedua, tetapi oleh kerana disiapkan sesudah perang, ENIAC tidak pernah digunakan untuk tujuan tersebut.
ENIAC menghasilkan banyak haba yang menyebabkan ia telah ditempatkan dan disusun di satu daripada beberapa buah bilik di Universiti dengan satu sistem pendinginan udara .Tiub-tiub vakum yang terdapat pada ENIAC adalah lebih dari 19,000. Ia juga mempunyai lima belas penyampai(relays) sebanyak satu ratus buah dan beratus ribu perintang, kapasitor, dan induktur
