Dataflex

DataFlex berasal sekitar 1980 sebagai bahasa pengaturcaraan pangkalan data, digambarkan sendiri sebagai pangkalan data pembagunan applikasi. Ia merupakan contoh agak awal bagi berciri penuh dan kegunaan komersial bahasa pengaturcaraan generasi keempat (fourth-generation programming language) (4GL). Dalam bentuk awalnya, DataFlex ada bagi sistem operasi UNIX, VAX/VMS, Novell NetWare, CP/M, MS-DOS dan OS/2.
