Cereka sains

Cereka sains (Jawi: ‏چريک ساءين‌س‎‎, juga fiksyen sains atau fiksi sains[1]; bahasa Inggeris: science fiction, singkatan: SF atau sci-fi) merupakan satu genre cereka luas yang sering melibatkan spekulasi berdasarkan sains dan teknologi sekarang dan masa hadapan. Cereka sains sering mengetengahkan kesan teknologi kepada individu manusia, masyarakat, negara dan dunia yang digambarkan dalam pelbagai jenis wahana baik buku, seni, televisyen dan filem, permainan video, teater dan media seumpama.

Dalam konteks organisasi atau pemasaran, cereka sains boleh sinonim dengan makna yang lleih luas bagi cereka spekulatif, melingkungi karya kreatif yang mengandungi unsur imaginatif yang tidak ditemui dalam realiti kontemporari; ini termasuklah fantasi dan seram.[2]
