Akko (Bahasa Ibrani: עַכּוֹ‎, Akko) atau Akka (Arab: عكّا, ʻAkkā)[1] ialah sebuah kota di kawasan barat Galilee utara daerah dikuasai negara Israel. Ia terletak di tanjung rendah di hujung utara dari Teluk Haifa. Berdasarkan Biro Pusat Statistik Israel, Acre didiami seramai 46,000 orang penduduk pada akhir tahun 2007.[2] Dari segi sejarah, Acre dianggap sebagai tempat kunci menuju ke tanah Syam disebabkan kedudukan pantainya yang strategik.

Sejarah

Kota Akka terangkum dalam kawasan Arab yang dibahagikan menurut pelan ditawarkan Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu tahun 1947 yang dijangka selepas Mandat British ke atas kawasan Palestin.
