Ulrich HOPP estas germana astronomo.
Li ricevis diplomon en pri fiziko en 1983 ĉe la Libera Universitato Berlino kaj doktorecon pri astronomio en 1988 ĉe la Universitato de Hajdelbergo. Li poste laboris en la Observatorio de Calar Alto por la Max-Planck Instituto pri astronomio kaj en la observatorio de la Universitato Ludoviko Maksimiliano de Munkeno. En 2005 li fariĝis direktoro de la Observatorio Wendelstein en Bavario.
Laŭ Minor Planet Center li kunmalkovris la asteroidon 5879 Almerio la 8-an de februaro 1992 kun Kurt Birkle.[1]
