Thomas FANTL (9a de decembro 1928 – 20a de julio 2001) estis germana kina reĝisoro kaj scenaristo.[1] Li reĝisoris 23 filmojn inter 1964 kaj 1986. Lia filmo de 1964 nome Die Zeit der Schuldlosen estis prezentita en la 14a Berlinale.

Fantl devenis el german-juda familio. Li supervivis la Holokaŭston; el 1941 ĝis 1945 li estis malliberigita en la Naziaj koncentrejoj de Theresienstadt, Auschwitz kaj Buchenwald. Post la milito li laboris en FAMU (Film- und Fernsehfakultät der Akademie der Musischen Künste) en Prago kaj estis interalie helpreĝisoro de Juri Weiss. En 1954-1955 li laboris en Tschechoslowakei Arbeitsverbot kaj elmigris en 1957 al Okcidenta Germanio, kie li laboris por Film-Hansa. Ekde 1963 Fantl estis libera reĝisoro, por televidkanalo ZDF. Interalie li estis reĝisoro por la televida serio Survoje al Atlantiso (Unterwegs nach Atlantis). En 1964 li produktis Die Zeit der Schuldlosen laŭ verko de Siegfried Lenz.
