Rumeno

Rumeno (rumen) estas la unua, kaj la plej granda, stomaka poŝo de la remaĉula stomako ĉe remaĉuloj, de kie la nemaĉita herbo revenas bulforme en la buŝon.

Kiam ŝafoj aŭ aliaj remaĉuloj paŝtas, vegetalo estas maĉata al amaso nome boluso, kiu estas poste pasata tra la rumeno, al la centipelio. Tia interago ien kaj reen povas daŭri je 20 ĝis 48 horoj antaŭ ke la boluso iras al la omaso, Ĉar intertempe la boluso revenadas al la buŝo per la ezofago (remaĉoprocezo).
