La pteridofitoj[1] (latine Pteridophyta) estas filumo de plantoj sen floroj nek semoj sed kun tipaj vaskuloj (vaskulaj kriptogamoj). La pteridofita grupo estas tre ampleksa. Ĝi entenas 14 ordojn, 48 familiojn, ĉirkaŭ 600 genrojn kaj ĉirkaŭ 10650 speciojn[2],[3],[4].
