La papuso (science pappus) estas harkrono aŭ malofte haŭtecaj semoj sur la fruktoj de plantoj el la familio de Asteracoj (Asteraceae).
Ĉe kelkaj plantoj, ekzemple ĉe leontodo aŭ tragopogo, la papuso estas per tigeto altigita kaj similas al eta ombrelo. La papuso estas plej ofte blanka aŭ bruna. La papuso helpas la disvastigon de la semoj pere de la vento. (Anemoĥorio). Ĉe kelkaj specioj, ekzemple bidento ĝi alkroĉiĝas en la pelto de bestoj (zooĥorio).
Papuso estas la tuto de la komplete ŝanĝita sepalo de floro de Asteracoj.
