Oss estas municipo en la nederlanda provinco Nord-Brabanto. La loĝloko ekde starigo de burgo Ravenstein en 1360 kaj post ricevo de urbaj rajtoj en 1380 estis germanlingva urbo en la Malsuprarejna-Vestfalia cirklo de la Sankta Romia Imperio de germana nacieco kaj almenaŭ ĝis la 1815, kiam ĝi surbaze de la decidoj de la Viena Kongreso iĝis parto de novfondita reĝlando Nederlando, havis la nomon Ravenstein.
