Exidy (akronimo de Excellence in Dynamics) estis usona videoluda firmao fondita en 1974. Ĝi kreis grandan nombron de famaj arkadludoj. Exidy spertis bankroton en 1983.

Historio

Exidy ĉefe evoluigis arkadajn videoludojn. La firmao ankaŭ estis la produktanto de la komputilo Exidy Sorcerer, kiu estis interalie karakterizita per siaj programeblaj signaroj.

En 1976, la firmao lanĉis Death Race. Ĝi restas konsiderata kiel la unua videoludo, kiu kaŭzis polemikon pro senmotiva perforto.

En 1980, ĝi ankaŭ lanĉis tre popularan arkadludon klare inspiritan de la kosmaj bataloj de Star Wars, nomita Star Fire. Ĝi estis la unua arkadludo laŭ "subjektiva realeco" (la esprimo virtuala realeco ankoraŭ ne estis inventita), kiu vere donis la impreson de stirado de kosmoŝipo.
