Emil Mosonyi [moŝonji], laŭ la hungara skribmaniero Mosonyi Emil estis hungara hidrologo, profesoro, ordinara membro de Hungara Scienca Akademio.

Emil Mosonyi naskiĝis la 10-an de novembro 1910 en Budapeŝto. Li mortis la 24-an de aprilo 2009 en Karlsruhe.

Biografio

Emil Mosonyi frekventis universitatojn en Budapeŝto kaj Mosonmagyaróvár. Poste li eklaboris en universitato en Budapeŝto. Ekde la 1950-aj jaroj li okupiĝis pri Danubo, akvonodoj de Tiszalök kaj Békésszentandrás. En 1964 li estis invitita al Okcidenta Germanio, kie li restis ĝismorte. Li edukis en universitato de Karlsruhe kaj li okupiĝis pri hidrologiaj temoj ne nur en Germanio, sed ankaŭ tutmonde. Li ricevis premion Kossuth en 1952, en 2007 alian premion.
