Aculeata
Aculeata estas subklado de Himenopteroj. La nomo estas referenco al difina trajto de la grupo, kiu estas la modifo de ovodemetilo en pikilo (tiel, la grupo estis nomita "pikilaj vespoj", kvankam la grupo enhavas kaj formikojn kaj abelojn). Alivorte, la strukturo kiu estis origine por ovodemetado estis modifita por liveri venenon. Ne ĉiuj membroj de la grupo povas piki; granda nombro ne povas, ĉu ĉar la ovodemetilo estas modifita diference (kiel por ovodemeti en fendoj), ĉu ĉar ĝi perdiĝis samtempe.
