Thank you for organizing her awards and honours in a table. I wanted to change the background colors to less "shouting", as she is no pop star, but see that they come with templates. "Won" looks most aggressive, and what's the difference between First place and "Won"? -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:34, 15 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hi! My pleasure. I like to add tables for awards wherever possible as they're more easily digestible for wikipedia viewers. To answer your question, "first place" is my interpretation of Norman's First prize at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich in 1968 -- I'm not sure of the format of that particular competition.
- All award result tiles in the wikipedia templates have rather punchy colors (won, first place, honored, etc.), but I understand your call out. I think removing the "Result" column entirely from the Miscellaneous honors section would make the most sense and wouldn't take anything away from the content/information. In that case, I can also add in all of the bullet points below that section to the chart - they weren't originally included because they weren't necessarily awards won.
- If you agree, I'd be more than happy to make that edit for you. cmilette (talk) 19:23, 15 August 2025 (UTC)
