My Journey
My journey on Wikipedia started from January 2025. My first edit came up while I was reading a article and found that editing is allowed on Wikipedia. My one of first edit was on article Science Olympiad Foundation, which was reverted by a editor. I was very disappointed at that time, because I really worked hard, and learned how to edit, but was reverted because of original research. I also created a draft, that I know today that it can never qualify as article, but I didn't know that time, due to this my draft was repeatedly rejected. This was the major turning point, since I find many guildlines and policies, due to that incident.
I also found that these are enforced by the editor like me. One of the first flags I had was rollback, I was given this right due to my experience in recent changes and handling vandalism, I examined the request at WP:PERM/ROLLBACK, and practised to get skills for that right. Very soon I got pending changes reviewer rights. These early achievements were very motivating for me, this is when I found myself to be useful for Wikipedia community.
In June 2025, I was not able to contribute and predicted that I may take a long time before coming back. Hence, I request revocation of my flags. However, it didn't took that much time, and eventually returned on July 2025, roughly 1 and half months. However I didn't actively contributed till January 2026, this time I didn't request revocation. 2026 will be a very happy year for me, January was the comeback year, immediately I applied for AFC reviewer, I am kept on hold as probationary reviewer, possibly due to my experience in AFD.
