Factoid: My real name is actually not Johnny, John, or any other variant. "John" is placeholder name and pen name, such as Dear John and John Doe.
I edit because I love Wikipedia and believe strongly in its open and collaborative nature, which is similar to (but should not be confused with) that of a democratic system. Through honest, responsible editing, Wikipedia has the potential to transcend the inherent limitations of traditional encyclopedias, and enlighten a population with true, representative knowledge.
