This is the Prawlins Official Encyclopedia, focusing on the fictional lore of the Prawlins, a group of people who staunchly oppose Greenland in an ironic manner. The lore of the Prawlins can be characterized as a vulgar blend of satire and surrealism being the source of in-jokes; Prawlins seek to expose employers of xenophobic rhetoric who antagonize foreign nations almost randomly and inherently look down upon foreign peoples. Prawlins often do this by facetiously assuming alter-egos committed to hatred of Greenland, a random nation. This is often taken to absurd levels, with the people of Greenland often not being the target of this resolute opposition, but rather the personification of the natural island formation of Greenland itself. A controversial example of humor of the Prawlins is the idea that antisemitism and hatred of Jews, who have been erroneously accused of secretly controlling the world for centuries, became prevalent ideals long ago due to rumors disseminated amongst the public by Greenland itself. In making such an outrageous comical claim, Prawlins make statements urging the public to reject bigotry and unfair stereotypes like antisemitism, while also making caricatures of those who indulge bigoted ways of thinking by making ridiculous scapegoating claims about a nation; in this case the claim being that Greenland propagated antisemitism to the people of post-Enlightenment Europe in order to frame Jews for being the source of instigated world dysfunction and manipulation of society when in fact Greenland itself was responsible for these “issues.”

Of all places, Greenland is chosen to be the main enemy of the Prawlins due to Prawlin founder JohnQuavious’ (ME) real life counterpart having received “i hate greenland” as a random 12:35 ᴀᴍ text message from one of his friends on 19 August 2025 who would also be a future Prawlin. The content of this message would then serve as the titular line for a song he wrote. Although the line as it appeared in the song was virtually nonsensical, it inspired numerous succeeding songs written by the future Prawlin founders.
