Estonia may qualify to playoffs if these teams qualify directly: Group A: best of Bulgaria/Montenegro Group B: Serbia Group E: Hungary Group F: Israel Group G: Romania and Norway Group H: Albania Group I: best of Scotland/Cyprus Group J: best of Finland/Greece

It's impossible for two of Czech Republic, Montenegro and Bulgaria to qualify from Group A, and Estonia cannot qualify from Group C, so at most 18 can qualify. --Theurgist (talk) 21:31, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@JalenFolf: In fact Slovenia was discussed at length in Talk:UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying play-offs. It is still possible that a sufficient number of teams from Leagues B and C that are ranked above Slovenia (second-to-last in League C) will qualify directly, so it can be in the play-offs. I would like to propose the following addition to the group tables: The teams that already secured the play-off spot (status letter (A) - as per 10 October Belarus and Scotland) could get the blue colour background like in the play-offs tables in the part of the page below or the Europa League spots in other association football league tables. In this case you could see it much quicker which teams are in the play-offs: There are so many status letters, that it's sometimes complicated to find the A... @Lemkovic: I think adding the blue background would add unnecessary confusion due to its random appearance. Given the group standings do not determine the play-off participants, it is better left to be shown at UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying play-offs#Teams selected. S.A.
