Parish places
Hi. You placed a WP:NOT on this page. I have since added links to the places with Wiki pages already created in Wikiville. And I will continue to add more. I removed the list from the main page because of a comment questioning its inclusion. So what is the best way to handle such a list? Do know of another page I can use as an example, or should I just not include the information at all? Thanks for your help. ∞☼Geaugagrrl(T)/(C)00:09, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The positive bit first. You may need to go abroad to find a specimen of a suitable navbox, but please, there is no need to look at what those dreadful Americans do! Just step a few miles outside the principality and look at Template:Cheshire, Borough of Vale Royal. A version of this for Ceredigion would be great.
But a list of places within the parish, I'm sorry: no. Firstly your list is not just of "places located within Llanfihangel y Creuddyn parish". The first item I looked at, Pontarfynach is the name of a different parish. Those items which are actually in the parish are far too detailed, going down to the level of individual farms. It could also be deemed a copyvio from here on genUKI. The article could well be expanded with details of the chapels, listed buildings and other notable features. But a list like this is, as I said, just indiscriminate information. — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 07:41, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
