I have deleted material on origins of Talbot, which in fact are quite as uncertain as those of the Southern Hound. The lack of early references to either breed makes any conclusions highly speculative. The link to 'Talbot' should clarify. Have also included a reference and link to 'Southern Hound' on the 'Talbot' page, so the two articles support each other.
