Article Heavily Relies on Primary v/s Secondary Sources?
Can you please tell me which sources in the current article are primary?
Currently, the list of 13 sources include references to the following media:
- Livemint.com
- business-standard.com
- exchange4media.com
- newslaundry.com
- businessworld.in
- Press Trust of India
- stockify.net
- byte-man.com
- indiacontentleadership.com
- bestmediainfo.in
Please clarify.
Thank you. BombaiyyaMag (talk) 20:39, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- There is also a reference to Moneycontrol.com which you left off the above list. This is likely the primary source. Looking closer, many of these are not reliable some fall under WP:NEWSORGINDIA. --CNMall41 (talk) 06:12, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
- That's one source, ok. What about the others? Why is Livemint not a reliable source? BombaiyyaMag (talk) 09:49, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
- I did not specifically call out Livemint. I said "many of these sources are not reliable and fall under WP:NEWSORGINDIA." An example would be Best Media Info which has no byline and is simply a routine announcement of an advertisement they ran. That reference would also fail WP:ORGCRIT which makes me think Moneycontrol.com may not meet notability guidelines. --CNMall41 (talk) 20:18, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
