Editors who repeatedly or seriously fail to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behaviour, or any normal editorial process may be blocked or restricted by an administrator. |
| This article should adhere to the gender identity guideline because it contains material about one or more trans women. Precedence should be given to self-designation as reported in the most up-to-date reliable sources, anywhere in article space, even when it does not match what is most common in reliable sources. Any person whose gender might be questioned should be referred to by the pronouns, possessive adjectives, and gendered nouns (for example "man/woman", "waiter/waitress", "chairman/chairwoman") that reflect that person's latest expressed gender self-identification. Some people go by singular they pronouns, which are acceptable for use in articles. This applies in references to any phase of that person's life, unless the subject has indicated a preference otherwise. Former, pre-transition names may only be included if the person was notable while using the name; outside of the main biographical article, such names should only appear once, in a footnote or parentheses. If material violating this guideline is repeatedly inserted, or if there are other related issues, please report the issue to the LGBTQ+ WikiProject, or, in the case of living people, to the BLP noticeboard. |

Met Gala
@Launchballer Attending the Met Gala is a monumental achievement in an artist's career. Why wouldn't we include it? Snokalok (talk) 13:28, 8 May 2026 (UTC)
- "Artist attends event" is just what they do. It doesn't add anything on an encyclopedic level.--Launchballer 14:05, 8 May 2026 (UTC)
- It does though, in the fashion and arts world it's the equivalent of being invited to dine with the president. Getting there is an achievement. By your logic we could say "Artist wins award is just what they do, it doesn't add anything" Snokalok (talk) 21:46, 8 May 2026 (UTC)
- Okay it's been two weeks without a response so, give it another day and if not I reinstate? Like I'm not expecting you to keep this going indefinitely but like, if I pose a point, you pose a counterpoint, and I counter that point, that's shallow water. Snokalok2 (talk) 06:35, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- Whoops, forgot about this. Awards are indicators of notability; going to a fashion show is not no matter who invited her. See WP:NOTEVERYTHING.--Launchballer 12:20, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- The Met Gala isn't a fashion show though, it's the most exclusive event in the world. Just as BTS being invited to The White House made their wiki page, so should this. I repeat, it's a titanic achievement for any artist to attend, and we tend to list major achievements on a celebrity's BLP. Snokalok2 (talk) 12:30, 23 May 2026 (UTC)

career section restructuring
i’m not an extended confirmed user but i think the career section should be restructured a bit
currently the headings are
1992–2021: Early life and career beginnings
2021–present: Republic Records
i think it should look like more like
1992-2016: Early life and career beginnings
2017-2021: First singles, Turn Off the Light, and Clarity
2021-2024: Slut Pop, “Unholy”, and Feed the Beast
2025-present: Detour and departure from Republic Records
or something similar Granty00 (talk) 06:13, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- Having a heading for a single paragraph would go against MOS:OVERSECTION, but let's see how much coverage Detour gets.--Launchballer 12:10, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- at the least, “2021-present: Republic Records” should be changed because she is not presently on republic Granty00 (talk) 14:05, 31 May 2026 (UTC)
Adding to category
I think this article should have the Category:Transgender women musicians category added, but I don't have edit access due to it being locked.

update Kim Petras's photograph in the infobox to a more recent image WandaBuns (talk) 12:53, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Please detail the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate.- Dear Wanda, you need to give a very precise ('specific') description of your requested change, so the person responding knows what you are asking for. So you would need to say which image to use instead. On top of that, you need to make sure, in this particular case, that the image is correctly licenced so that there are no copyright concerns. If you do that, you can reopen the request or just WP:ping me. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Slomo666 (talk) 15:00, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
