Talk:Biotechnology

when has this article last been updated? 2008?!?

I am reading this article in May 2013 and it states "Revenue in the industry is expected to grow by 12.9% in 2008".

Proposing an addition

I would like to propose adding the following sentence in the "Medicine" section, at the end of the third paragraph, right after the sentence "Biotechnology has also enabled emerging therapeutics like gene therapy. ":

"T cells have been engieered to produce lentiviral vectors, transfering genes to cancer cells in vitro."

Source: Detuncq, J. T cells assemble lentivirus to solve local delivery of stable gene therapy. Sci Rep 16, 11086 (2026). https://doi.org/10.1038/s41598-026-39968-5

I am the author of this article so I propose the edit here. I appreciate feedback or edits to wording. NewUser263497 (talk) 03:37, 4 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
