Quinlan Vos
Quinlan Vos is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. Vos was voiced by Al Rodrigo in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series. The character also appears in various canon and non-canon Star Wars media like books and comics. Born on the planet Kiffu and raised at the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant, Vos is a Jedi Master who wields a green-bladed lightsaber. He is also a Jedi General during the Clone Wars and is one of the few Jedi to survive Order 66, the galaxy-wide mass murder of Jedi ordered by Emperor Palpatine.[1] AppearancesThe character of Quinlan Vos made his first public appearance in the 1999 film Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. This is a retcon, as originally the character was a random extra. Star Wars creator George Lucas liked the character enough to retcon him into the film. They come to the conclusion that Count Dooku, the leader of the treasonous Confederacy of Independent Systems, must die, and they devise a plan to assassinate him. The Council selects Asajj Ventress, Dooku's former disciple and personal assassin, and team her up with Vos. Even though Ventress has good cause to distrust the Jedi, the Council thinks that if given the right encouragement, her animosity for Dooku, who tried to have her killed once she had outlived her usefulness to him, may lead her to act against her former master.
