Majorana 2 is a quantum computing processor developed by Microsoft.[1][2] It follows the Majorana 1 chip released the previous year.[3] The new features of the Majorana 2 include a new material stack which enables a 1,000 fold improvement of reliability over the previous chip. Microsoft now expects a scalable quantum computer by 2029.[4][5][6][7]
