Το IC 2602 (άλλες ονομασίες: Νότιες Πλειάδες, σμήνος του θ Τρόπιδος, Caldwell 102) είναι ανοικτό σμήνος στον αστερισμό Τρόπιδα. Το σμήνος απέχει 480 έτη φωτός από τη Γη και με συνολικό φαινόμενο μέγεθος +1,9 είναι ορατό δια γυμνού οφθαλμού. Αποτελείται από περίπου 60 άστρα από τα οποία το λαμπρότερο είναι το θ Τρόπιδος, με φαινόμενο μέγεθος 2,74, ενώ τα υπόλοιπα είναι πέμπτου μεγέθους ή αχνότερα. Η ηλικία του υπολογίζεται σε 45 εκατομμύρια έτη[1].

Το ανακάλυψε ο Νικολά Λουί ντε Λακάιγ τις 3 Μαρτίου 1752, ο οποίος έγραψε ότι μοιάζουν με τις Πλειάδες.[2]
