Murusi ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Kasulu (TC) in der tansanischen Region Kigoma.

Geografie

Murusi ist ein Stadtbezirk in der Seezone im Nordwesten von Tansania. Er liegt östlich des Zentrums der Distrikthauptstadt Kasulu. Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 34.036 Menschen in 7104 Haushalten[1] auf einer Fläche von 9 Quadratkilometern.[2]

Der Bezirk grenzt an vier Bezirke des Distrikts Kasulu (TC):[3]

Bildung

Im Bezirk liegen drei weiterführende Schulen.[4] Die Bogwe Secondary School[5] und die Hwazi Secondary School[6] sind staatliche koedukative Schulen, die Hamenya Girls Secondary School ist eine privat geführte Mädchenschule.[7]
